You think of safety and health, if you value life. It is when we attach value to the life, we would then add dignity to the person. Eventually, we would move towards safety and health of every person in the society. When we look at our road accidents and open drainages, we understand our society lacks the sense of value of life and dignity of person. That is the reason we take for granted people’s lives and health; that is the reason we easily abuse another human being – both verbally and physically; that is the reason we deliberately exploit another person to our ends and benefits, or break relationship just for silly reasons. Let us, as Petrine Family, start having value for every human life, showing dignity for every human person. Then, we shall surely start working for the safety and good health of every Indian, irrespective of caste, creed, language, region or status. Sincere apprecitions to the group of Petrines to enlighten us on this ‘World Day for Safety and Health at Work’.
