The Petrines of Grade 7 A enthralled us with their experiences as today’s theme for the assembly was ‘Sharing the Memories of the Summer Vacation’. Not only this they also shared their views about life skills by showcasing ‘How Education Teaches Life Skills’. Education that does not initiate skill training is waste of time, energy and resources. Activities in the classroom and campus must be aimed at inculcating values and skills in the students. Be it a classroom activity like debate or inter-house activity like table-tennis, an engaged student is bound to learn various skills. Hence, students must be encouraged by the parents and the teachers to participate enthusiastically in school and classroom activities. Dear Petrines, be skilled.
