Resilience

A group of Petrines from Medium of Instruction (MI) Team enthralled all of us during the assembly on the theme  ‘Resilience – The Ability to Bounce Back.’ The Petrine Family appreciates the efforts of these students and the teachers. God bless them all.  Everyone is bound to experience kinks and curls, from daily trials to harrowing events with more long-term bearing, like the demise of a loved one, a life-changing mishap, or a life-threatening ailment. Each change distresses individuals in a different way, bringing an inimitable deluge of thoughts, solid sensations and insecurity. Yet people normally adjust well over time to life-transforming circumstances and nerve-racking situations—in part thanks to resilience. Psychologists define resilience as the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress—such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems, or workplace and financial stressors. Well Executed, Great going dear Petrines.
