The Petrines of Grade 3B for conducted the assembly on the topic – Punctuality.  Dear children, please understand that punctuality is not just an important virtue, but essential. Punctuality is the mark of civilized and cultured people. It is the habit of doing things in correct time. ‘A stitch in time saves nine’, so says an English proverb. Doing things in time, thus, saves us from unnecessary troubles. Punctuality gives discipline to life. We have to get up in time. We have to do things at the appointed time. All these entails certain amount of sacrifice. It dispels laziness and removes our ‘take-it-easy-attitude’. A disciplined person always gets recognition and social acceptance. Punctuality also provides us ample time to do our work correctly and properly. Sincere appreciations to the Petrines – students and parents for learning to be punctual. We come to school in time.
