William Shakespear aka Bard of Avon, the father of english literature commemorates his birth and death on 23rd April every year. The Petrines of Literary Club showcased an enthralling assembly on English Language Day, specifying about Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Virginia Woolf etc. and about contemporary english. They highlighted the importance of english language for us being the most common second language in the world.
