The Petrines of grade 9 and 10 enlightened us about Bhimrao Ambedkar, his teachings, the making of the constitution of India and about his fight to eradicate the social evils like untouchability, rights of dalits and socially backward classes in his life.

Petrines also enlightened us all about Baisakhi which marks the beginning of the harvesting season. It is not just a Spring-time harvest festival but also a day that is commemorative of the formation of the Khalsa Panth of warriors under Guru Gobind Singh in 1699.
