All Souls’ Day, is a solemn day of remembrance dedicated to honoring the souls of all the faithful departed. We remember in a special manner the departed souls of our families and relations. November 2 every year is a special day when we fondly remember our family members and dear and near ones, who once lived with us, cared for us, loved us, and spent time with us and now are no longer physically with us. They have departed from our lives and from this world. We miss them. We continue to love them. As expression of our love for them, we continue to pray for them, so that they may find repose and eternal company and eternal life. May the souls of the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. As per divine revelations, there are three communities of people in the universe: 1. Triumphant community, that is already in heaven, united with God, the Creator; 2. Suffering community, that is of those who no longer physically live with us due to death, who need our assistance and prayers so that God may have mercy upon them and take them to His heavenly Presence; and 3. Pilgrim community, that is us who are still alive on this earth, who are on a journey on this earth toward unity with God the Creator.
