Fit India School week was culminated in the Petrine campus on 3rd Dec 2022 under the Fit India Movement by Youth Affairs and Sports. “Strength doesn’t come from physical capacity, but from an indomitable will.” Says Mahatma Gandhi. However, regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities. We, Jammuaties, must wake up to this reality. We give the least importance to our physical fitness, forgetting that every other health depends on our physical fitness. We have unfortunately become a generation of comfort-seeking. We need to change our attitude. Let’s begin a Fit Petrine Movement to initiate a Fit Jammu Movement.
